Blessings are often disguised. In the moment, we don't always understand the 'why' behind the pain, but soon enough we'll see just what God was up to behind the scenes. Brokenness has a way of drawing us closer to God and cultivating humility and a soft heart. And that's exactly what He's looking for - a heart that can be transformed, reshaped and molded into something new and absolutely beautiful. Although we don't like painful processes, it's during these processes that growth and change takes place.
"And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pessure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance. Such hope [in God's promises] never disappoints us..." - Romans 5:3-5 (AMP)
Today, choose to focus on the good rather than the hurt. God is the greatest Healer. So refuse to give up, rather look up. Choose to see the blessing of brokenness.
